Inika

Inika wonders if she should have been named Jack sometimes. From sports to embroidery, trying her hand at every other thing out there is her greatest hobby, just like her mother had intended when she introduced her to the phrase - "জুতা শিলাই থেকে চন্ডী পাঠ সব জানা উচিত" [From cobbling to chants, know all there is to be known.]

Just like everyone else, Inika had also been struck with a lightning of self-doubt right before graduating, wondering what significance this degree would hold in her life. But as Laozi once said, "“千里之行，始于足下”, [The journey of a thousand miles, begins with the first step.]. Following this frame of thought, she put the heavy pail that worried her down and set forth on a journey. Whether she'd come tumbling after may still be a mystery, but it would be a journey nonetheless, she believes.

As a bearer of a myriad of names, Inika simply wishes to create an inclusive place at Ohana where people get to be who they are, even Joes and Jacks like herself, and pursue what they want to, whether it's a career or Jill. At the very least a place that lets her keep cracking her witty(bad) jokes in peace.
