Nidhi

I am Nidhi, currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Sociology at JNU, New Delhi. I did my graduation in Social Management from Central University of Gujarat, an interdisciplinary programme combining Public Policy, Management, and Governance. In 2025, I worked as a student intern with DST-CPR, CUG, which further enriched my academic and intellectual interests. I joined Ohana because it provides me with a space to express my perspectives while broadening my understanding of the world, its processes, and its events. The opportunity to engage with new and diverse ideas and perspectives helps me understand different phenomena which is complementary to my area of study. Ohana also provides me with a platform to explore areas of particular interest to me, including philosophy, photography, and Chinese language and culture. As a Sociology student, I find this interdisciplinary environment particularly valuable, as it allows me to understand society and social phenomena through different perspectives and ways of thinking.
